Role Overview:

As a Backend Developer Intern, you will assist in building and maintaining server-side components and systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for backend development. No prior professional experience is required, but a solid understanding of backend technologies and tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in designing, coding, and testing backend services and functionalities.

- Develop and maintain server-side logic using backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby.

- Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis to manage and interact with data.

- Collaborate with the team to design and implement RESTful APIs.

- Utilize version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub for code management and collaboration.

- Gain exposure to microservices architecture and understand how it applies to backend development.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby.

- Familiarity with database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Basic knowledge of RESTful API development.

- Understanding of version control using Git and GitHub.

- Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a remote setting.

- A personal laptop is required for the internship.
